SIXTIETH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION CONCERT Various luminaries from the Youth Orchestras' illustrious past were be honored at this event. All three orchestras performed--along with a number of alumni--fifty!!--returning for the occasion. The Youth Philharmonic offered the world premiere of Kenneth Froelich's Jubilation Fanfare, composed expressly for this event and offered by Professor Froelich as a gift to the orchestras. We auctioned off the wonderful Painted Violins that were created for us by a number of artists. The Saroyan was alive with music, art, memories, and happy participants all night. Outstanding!

Sibelius, Finlandia, performed by the Youth Chamber Orchestra and Youth Symphony Orchestra
Froelich, Jubilation Fanfare (world premiere!), performed by the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra
Gershwin, American in Paris, performed by the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra
Berlioz, Symphonie Fantastique, performed by a mega-orchestra of alumni and Youth Philharmonic
